When you stay at the Judge Porter House

every step feels as if it's found a red carpet.......

Entrance Hall

Upon entering the Judge Porter House your eyes will be drawn to one of two beautiful German cut crystal chandeliers.  Please take a moment and sign the guest book located on the petticoat table or relax on one of the Rosewood upholstered chairs.  At Christmas time guests are greeted with a spectacular 10 foot tall Christmas Tree.

Downstairs Parlor

Next to the Entrance Hall is the Downstairs Parlor which is the home to the second German cut crystal chandeliers.   Relax by the fireplace in a sleepy hollow chair or browse the latest current magazines on the empire sofa.

Upstairs Parlor

Furnished with your comfort in mind, the Queen Anne camel back sofas are perfect for conversation, reading a book or watching a movie.  Popular with families and couples traveling together this parlor is accessible to the New Orleans and Princes bedrooms..  This parlor is stocked with a great selection of books, games, a TV/VCR and refreshments.  Also you have access to the wrap around gallery from this room.

Dining Room

Join us for sumptuous multi-course candlelight breakfast served in our elegant dining room under the glow of a French-cut chandelier.  Your breakfast may start with a Judge Porter House sundae served in an old fashioned sundae dish followed by our famous rolled omelets and piping hot biscuits.

Swimming Pool

Relax or take a  refreshing swim in our new pool area.

The Popularity of the Judge Porter House can be seen by the number of guests who return...
